2021 is an amazing year for us at Charleston Sailing Charters, We have just added a new sailing yacht called Mystique, together with Fate and Kismet our fleet is expanding nicely. We are busier than we ever have been completing over 150 charters per month at the moment. We have a massive crew of 22 and adding new captains and mates as we go. We had an amazing year so far with over 360 private charters completed in 2016 and 6000 miles sailing around the Charleston area. Sorry we could'nt fit in every charter on the slideshow. Be sure to join us next year for an amazing time on Fate!
We are offering Fate for charter for the 2016 Charleston Race Week, the #1 Keelboat Regatta in North America. No experience necessary. A 4 day committment is necessary starting April 14th through 18th. We can take up to six guests in your party each day. The racing consists of an inshore to offshore Pursuit style race which is very beginner friendly, its like going sailing for the day for fun. There is a party each evening after the race to help take down 80 gallons of rum. Because we must keep the boat light, no overnight accomodations will be allowed. The 14th is a meet up and practice day, learn about the boat and what the racing is about, days 2, 3 and 4 are where we put our practice to the test. If we win, you get the trophy! The rate for the 4 days is $5,600 and includes crew shirts, hats and refreshments. Split between 6 people thats only $933 pp or $233 per person per day for sailing on a 50ft yacht in a regatta.. You cant beat that! We want to thank all of our charter guests for making 2015 another record year! We performed exactly 335 private charters, thats roughly 1300 fun people we took sailing! We thoroughly enjoyed our time with each and every one of you, and hope to see you all again in the future! A beautiful start to the November sailing season, typical weather is in the 60's-70's with dips into the 40s at night. We get very busy around Thanksgiving so plan ahead if you wish to sail with us near the end of the month.

We have had a pretty good winter with above average freezing rain but its warming up. This weeks forecast is for temps in the mid 70's. We have bookings all the way to September, call early before its all booked up. Fate is ready!
This has been the best year since Fates inception, we want to thank all our guests, friends and families who have joined us in 2013! We had a great month and even took a week off to visit the Blue Ridge Mountains. Above is a little video from one of our trips to Bohicket Marina with some guests. The sail down was absolutely spectacular and the next day we had some pretty good winds and real offshore sailing conditions. The trip is one of our most popular and with room for 4 guests overnight its a great trip for two couples!

We had an incredible sail to Bohicket Marina on Saturday. Winds started out around 10kts and by the time we got offshore a coldfront hit bringing 30kt winds and some nice wind waves. The ride was smooth and the wind was cold but it was a spirited sail!
The sail home on Sunday was even better, perfect beam reach running 8kts on average all the way home.

We had a wonderful day with 15-18kt winds for the Frostbite race. We sailed in the non spinnaker D fleet and beat the entire fleet by 4 minutes, but becuase of our handicap we ended up in 6th place corrected. A big thanks to our awesome crew! Congrats to Brandon and Dana who got engaged on Fate tonight, view photos of the engagement here. It was a bit cold out with 25kt winds but it made for a dramatic proposal and some excellent photos at sunset.

Race two of the Frostbite series was a blast! The weather was incredible for January with temps near 70, we had an awesome crew and a great time was had by all. We did not finish first but we have some extremely tough competition and the light winds were not in our favor.

We have just completed a totally new redesign of our web presence for Charleston Sailing Charters. Although our old site worked great, it was just too plain, outdated and it did not fully represent our style and services. We want to give a giant THANK YOU to Brian Boyd at Cubicalweb.com. Brian helped out in every aspect and we are amazed at how the new site looks and works. Brian is a wiz with the web and was able to make this new site work with many platforms. From iphones and ipads to home computers alike, the site is now in the 21st century with them.
If you were familiar with our old site, you will notice many more pages and much more information on our new site. From our Catering Page to our new Rates Pages, much more information is conveyed together with big and bright images from our previous charters. The end result is pretty impressive and we could not be happier!
We are also adding a new and exciting way to enjoy the Charleston Harbor; you can now participate in the weekly yacht racing on Fate. The schedule is posted on the Yacht Racing Page so you can align your schedule to be in Charleston for a race.
