If you are looking for a nicer more stylish motor boat charter boat for parties up to six, look no further than the Southern Charm. Southern Charm is a beautiful example of a Scout 235 Sportfish center console, allowing us to cruise the harbor and also stop at local and secluded beaches where most tourists cant reach. Southern Charm is perfect for families, bachelorette/Batchelor parties, birthday parties, and anyone looking to go fast and also chill on a beach. Southern Charm is a very comfortable boat with comfortable seating for six passenger, amazing sound system and comes complete with options for towels, cabana, beach coolers and chairs at additional cost. In the summer months we can include the optional water hammock rafts for swimming fun. If you are looking for a weekend booking in the summer, be sure to plan well ahead as we run over 200 bachelorette charters annually, they book up the weekends months in advance.

Cruise for 3 Hours or up to 4
Morning and afternoon Charters start at 3 hours and can be extended to 4 hours if planning ahead.
Sunset charters start at 2 hours and can be extended to three hours.
When adding time, we have to add the additional time to the beginning of the charter so this must be done while booking. Please call us directly to add time to your trip and to book over the phone. Additional hours are $150 per hour.
For charters longer than three hours please call 843-557-7403, a 50% fully refundable deposit can be put down to hold the time.

If you wish to visit the beach and or swim during the summer, we have optional accessories to make your trip exceptional. A three hour trip gives us up to 2 hours to hang out on the beach, if you are from out of town and dont have all the beach accessories we can provide them at additional cost.

All charter fees are fully refundable up to 7 days prior to departure for any reason. Just give us a call and we will issue a refund. Within 7 days there is a 50% refund. There is no refund within 24 hours and you are responsible for the entire charter fee even if you only paid the deposit.
Trip Protection
Purchasing trip protection allows you to cancel or reschedule your cruise at any time for any reason up to 1 Hour prior to trip departure. You will be reimbursed for the full amount of the charter, less the cost of trip protection, booking and processing fees.
Cancelation due to weather is at the discretion of the captain at the time of departure. We do not base our charters off the extended forecast and always show up to the boat, 9 times out of 10 if the forecast says rain, it will be sunny and perfect to go sailing. We cancel less than 1% of our charters due to foul weather. If the captain chooses to cancel due to unsafe or unpleasant weather you will be given the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

Usually you wont get wet other than some spray now and then. If you are planning on doing a beach excursion then yes you will get wet getting on and off the boat. We usually get our feet wet up to our knees and sometimes up to your waist when getting on or off the boat. You must be able to climb off and back on using the swim ladder and swim step, this will be very difficult for those with disabilities. If we get caught in the rain we do have ponchos for each guest to keep you dry. We also have dry storage for all your bags.

Every day in the summer the forecast will usually call for mostly sunny skies with a chance of thunderstorms. The forecast models cant accurately predict daily thunderstorms so its just a guess. We know that we do get pop up thunderstorms from time to time but we have to cancel less than 1% of our charters annually. We always show up to the boats and make the call at that time, 99% of the time it will be perfectly fine to go.
Fast Boat Rides and Beach Excursion with Shelling / Fossil Hunting
Enjoy a half day cruising the harbor on a private center console captained by a professional yacht captain. Stop at secluded island beaches for shark tooth hunting, shelling or just lay out on the beach or add beach chairs, cabana, beach cooler and JBL speaker and make it a party on the beach!
Southern Charm can reach speeds of 30mph, in three hours we can cover a lot of ground and visit many parts of the harbor. Lunch at Shem Creeks many restaurants is an option along with a long stroll on Morris island with the hopes of finding that coveted 50 million year old Megalodon tooth! Its up to you what we do and our captain will take you there!
