Every other year Charleston hosts the Charleston to Bermuda yacht race, the 777 mile 5-7 day race is held in May and this year Fate is available for charter in the race. Book the boat for the race and take your friends or family along for the ultimate adventure, open ocean distance racing. You captain and first mate will be there with you to make sure things run smoothly.
The next edition of this race will feature some new, educationally oriented twists that will make it a valuable experience for the avid racer as well as the casual cruiser who is preparing for extended offshore voyaging. The organizers have pledged to tailor the race based on the entries with the possibility of a staggered start to insure that all entrants arrive in Bermuda in time to participate in the annual festivities of Bermuda Day (May 25th). Prior to the start, multiple seminars are planned to cover safety, weather, and strategy.
